In the last episode, we see our trio of First years went to investigate and possibly subjugate and Special Grade Curse Womb. Although nothing ends up going our trio’s way and they end up in a one-sided battle against a Special Grade Curse.

Itadori being the absolute badass he is remains unfazed for the most part and gets both of his classmates to escape. After they escape, he released Sukkuna who proceeds to totally wreck the other curse. After Sukuna asks Itadori to take back control of his body, Sukkuna finds out he is no longer capable of controlling him and lets out a menacing smile.
